At Disney Yellow Shoes, the Design team was tasked with developing a new logo for Downtown Disney. A project that was nearly three years in the making, with countless rounds of collaboration, feedback, and refinement. Hundreds of eyes on the process, every detail was thoughtfully considered to create a mark that honored the destination’s rich history while embracing its exciting future.
The final brand is rooted in nostalgia, drawing inspiration from the timeless magic and optimism that have defined Disney for generations. While introducing a fresh, contemporary perspective that reflects the evolution happening throughout Downtown Disney. A bold yet classic color palette, the identity captures the energy, vibrancy, and sophistication of the district’s ongoing growth and transformation.
Creating a logo for a physical space within the Disneyland Resort was nothing short of a dream project.  This was a rare opportunity to help shape a place that means so much to so many people, and hopefully we delivered a mark that Walt himself would have been proud to see welcoming guests for years to come.
